Fifth Avenue

Fifth Avenue
Lloyd Kiva was among the artists who founded the original Arizona Craftsmen in 1946, which was located at the Arizona Craftsmen building at Brown and Main street. After the building burned, the artists and craftspeople moved north of downtown Scottsdale to a previously undeveloped piece of land along Fifth Avenue, which would become the center of a thriving arts and crafts culture in Scottsdale for many years. | Creator: Wesley Segner | Date: 1950 | Source: Scottsdale Public Library, THMB_Fifth Ave 1950 Segner photo - SHS94.046.3 | Rights: Scottsdale Public Library
