This is the Untermyer Fountain located in the center of the conservatory. Similar to Golden Gate Park’s conservatory, the park started to have a more diverse range of flowers and shrubs such as flower beds. Encanto Park took this rationalistic approach with the thousands of palm trees planted in an area originally used for agriculture.
